Joining the matching pool is free. We save your interest in My Meetups and your free entitlement is not used here.
2. We wait for a genuinely viable group
Our deterministic matcher respects availability, language, budget, travel, reliability, friend pairs and previous overlap. If quality is too low, you stay in the matching pool and we keep matching.
3. Still keen? Confirm your place
We notify you when a compatible group is ready. An eligible first meetup creates an A$0 confirmation; future meetups use an A$5 secure checkout.
4. Get accurate venue details
Confirmed members receive the real venue, arrival guidance and private group chat. Templates are never presented as confirmed physical events.
