Community Guidelines

Bring curiosity. Respect boundaries. Help everyone have a good KeenOut.

Be inclusive, punctual and considerate. Listen, share conversation space and accept ‘no’ immediately. Friendly participation never implies romantic or sexual interest.

Not allowed

Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, threats, stalking, unwanted sexual behaviour, impersonation, scams, spam, illegal activity, commercial solicitation, and crypto or investment solicitation are prohibited.

Show up responsibly

Cancel as early as possible when plans change. Repeated intentional no-shows or misuse of replacement flows can lead to restrictions because they harm the whole group.

Report concerns

Use reporting tools for users, messages, experiences or safety issues. Do not weaponise reports. We review context and keep an audit trail.

Confirm, cancel or communicate

Respond to the same-day attendance prompt when you can. If plans change, use ‘I can’t make it’ promptly so a compatible standby participant can be offered the place. If delayed, use ‘I’m running late’. Arrival status is voluntary, operational and never exposes exact live GPS.

Rules for organisers

Community Events are organiser-run listings, distinct from matched KeenOut Experiences. Publish only events you are authorised to organise or represent. Dates, venues, admission, prices, external-ticket responsibility and cancellations must be accurate. Scams, prohibited activity, harassment, hate, misleading sponsorship, fake popularity or attendance, copied material without rights, and unsafe or illegal events are not allowed. Required permits and licences remain the organiser’s responsibility.
