Joining the matching pool is free. Your interest stays visible in My Meetups and your entitlement is not used here.
2. We wait for a genuinely viable group
Our deterministic matcher respects availability, language, budget, travel, reliability, friend pairs and previous overlap. If quality is too low, you stay in the matching pool and we keep matching.
3. Confirm your place
We notify you when a compatible group is ready. An eligible first meetup creates an A$0 confirmation; future meetups use a A$5 secure checkout.
4. Get accurate venue details
Confirmed members receive the real venue, arrival guidance and private group chat. Templates are never presented as confirmed physical events.
